2D In Your 3D Blender Scene

In this Blender tutorial we're covering how to use 2D elements in a 3D Blender scene. If you don't need the complexity of 3D geometry, 2D assets can be a great way to increase the complexity of your scene without adding much render time! The Blender Grease Pencil opens up possibilities for bringing 2D animation into your 3D scenes... and you can always import images, videos and text, which are essentially 2D, as well. The trick to making it work it making the 2D surface turn to face the camera. Here are a few methods for doing this:
